The great holiday tradition of The Nutcracker has become a Saint Louis favorite amongst families and schools alike. It is Christmas Eve in the Stahlbaum home. Young Clara receives a special present from her godfather Drosselmeyer – a wooden Nutcracker. As the party ends and dreams begin, Clara journeys through fantastical lands with her Nutcracker Prince. Set to Tchaikovsky’s beloved score, The Nutcracker remains a popular introduction to ballet for audiences of all ages.

See moments from Shakespeare’s timeless tragedy of star-crossed lovers come to life through a different art form. The lifelong feud of the Capulets and Montagues rages on, but when Romeo meets Juliet, the town of Verona will never be the same. Set to the highly-charged music of Sergei Prokofiev by choreographer Gen Horiuchi, Saint Louis Ballet expresses Shakespeare’s words through the powerful language of dance.

An evil sorcerer transforms a princess into a swan, and a brave prince longs for true love. Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake remains an iconic symbol of ballet’s possibilities. Saint Louis Ballet’s production, choreographed by Gen Horiuchi, explores themes of loyalty, true love, deception, sisterhood, and fate.
