Dress up your beloved pet as a Nutcracker character and you could win tickets to The Nutcracker.
Celebrate Nutcracker season by posting a photo of your dog or cat costumed in Nutcracker garb (of
course!) on Saint Louis Ballet’s weekly contest post on Facebook (facebook.com/stlouisballet). Each week, dog and cat lovers from Saint Louis Ballet will select the “winning-est” picture, and award the lucky entrant 4 tickets to The Nutcracker!

Here’s How To Enter!

Snap a shot of your dog or cat in Nutcracker apparel (or a costume appropriate for the ballet!)

Follow or Like Saint Louis Ballet on Facebook or Instagram.

Post your best photo, along with your name, pet’s name, and pet’s character on the contest post at
facebook.com/stlouisballet so followers can see the post and like it. Winners are chosen by a majority vote by the dancers of Saint Louis Ballet.

Submit your weekly entry starting on the following dates:
Week 1 begins Nov 14, winner selected Nov 18
Week 2 begins, Nov 28, winner selected Dec 1
Week 3 begins Dec 5, winner selected Dec 9
Week 4 begins Dec 12, winner selected Dec 16
Each week, dog and cat lovers from Saint Louis Ballet will select the “winning-est” picture, and award

If selected as a weekly winner, you will receive information about how to claim your tickets.
A FEW RULES

Contest launches weekly every Monday beginning November 14. Four winners will be chosen.

Contestants can enter weekly but cannot win more than once.

Winners are chosen every Friday by dancers of Saint Louis Ballet who are all dog and cat lovers.

Winners are notified through Facebook.

Winners will get to choose a performance of The Nutcracker to attend (excluding matinee performances Dec 18 and 19)

Employees of Saint Louis Ballet cannot be chosen as winners.

Tickets cannot be exchanged for cash or exchanged for other performances other than The Nutcracker.
Saint Louis Ballet is proud to work with Kelly Pratt and Ian Kreidich, creators of Dancers & Dogs
(dancersanddogs.com), a beautiful tribute to ballet dancers nationwide and the pets they adore.
Every holiday season, their Muttcracker photos feature Saint Louis Ballet dancers in tandem with
adoptable dogs from Stray Rescue, a Saint Louis organization dedicated to rescuing stray animals in need
of medical attention, restoring them to health, and placing them in loving, adoptive homes.
All Muttcracker animals will be available for adoption. Featured photos of adoptable dogs with Nutcracker
characters will be posted at facebook.com/stlouisballet.
